Barely four decades ago, almost 98 children out of 100 children diagnosed with cancer died. Today, over 70 out of 100 children with cancer survive, an impressive testament to the power of medical research.

However, despite enormous advances in medical research, three in every ten children diagnosed with cancer still lose their lives. These are the children that Children's Cancer Institute Australia is dedicated to saving.

CCIA is the only independent medical research institute in Australia dedicated to research into the causes, better treatments, cure and prevention of childhood cancer.
