Although you may not have decided on a particular fundraising event yet, the fact that you’re reading this page means you care about CCIA’s work and support us in our mission to save the lives of all children with cancer and to eliminate their suffering.
Community fundraising is vital to the success of CCIA. When presenting their donation cheques, people often say to us, “We’re sorry, we only raised…” To that we say, “Absolutely every cent you raised is making a difference. Thanks to your event and your efforts, we’re one step closer!” CCIA is grateful for every contribution.
Please read through our fundraising basics, including our tried and tested tips for holding a successful event (we swear by them!). If you have any questions, remember that the CCIA team is here to help – not just to get you started but also throughout your event. So pick up the phone because, if nothing else, we love a good chat!
Most importantly, don’t forget the “fun” in “fundraising”. This is what it’s all about – we like to see smiles, and very big ones at that!
