When is 86K for a Cure?
Your 86km challenge will take place from 1 March - 31 March 2022.
Where is 86K for a Cure?
86K for a Cure is a virtual fitness challenge so you can take part anywhere. In your local area, parks, at the gym or anywhere that suits you.
What if I run or walk more than 86km during March?
You are a Children’s Cancer Institute superstar! Every kilometre you complete will be dedicated to a child diagnosed with cancer.
Do we have to walk OR run or can we cycle or swim?
This is a walk or run challenge for our community, but if you wish to participate doing another activity, that’s ok!
Are there any rewards?
Every participant will receive badges on their online fundraising page when milestones are completed; such as when you get your first donation, log your first kilometre or share your page online.
When you raise $86, you will receive a free 86K for a Cure t-shirt!
How do I log my 86km?
After registering, you will have access to your own personal dashboard where you can connect your fitness tracker or app to the website which will sync automatically. If you do not have access to the tracking apps available, you may manually add your kilometres.
What if I start my 86km before 1 March?
We love your enthusiasm! Your kilometres will be tracked once you connect your app and then we will refresh everyone’s stats on 1 March to start 86K for a Cure together.
