How many laps can you endure? On Friday 8th May, test your stamina with our unique 12-hour closed track cycling event.
Following a very successful inaugural year, Endure for a Cure is back for 2015! Last year, almost 100 riders pushed themselves to their limits and reached over $180,000 in funds raised!
Our unique, team endurance cycling challenge is held on a closed circuit track – encouraging riders of all standards to Endure for a Cure for childhood cancer. This year we will return to the Sydney Motorsport Park, offering our teams of 6 a once-in-a-lifetime experience. For one day only, you will be given exclusive access to the track with one simple goal – endure as many laps as physically possible within 12 hours.
Not only do you get to experience the thrills of closed-circuit riding, but we will also treat you like a professional cyclist in the process. Get your very own team garage for the duration of the ride, receive full race support, timing chips, training schedules and more. Or really push the boat out and opt for our deluxe garage – complete with your very own massage therapist, concierge and deluxe food.
Whichever option you choose, it’s your support that is important to us. The proceeds of this year’s ride will support our new Personalised Medicine Program, which is aimed at identifying individually tailored treatments for children with high risk cancers.
Experiencing the physical and emotional challenge of 12 hours of endurance cycling might sound like a lot, but this is pain that will be short lived in comparison to that suffered by children during their cancer journey. More than 625 children will be diagnosed with childhood cancer in Australia each year, with three dying every single week. We can and we will cure childhood cancer, which is where you come in.
Get a team together today and cycle for kids who endure the challenge of cancer treatment on a daily basis.
