Jimmy's Smash Burgers 1st Birthday Fundraiser
Matty's Smash is made in honour of our friend Matty Lam.
Matty lost his battle a year ago on 29 July 2022 to a debilitating and aggressive brain cancer known as Diffuse Hemispheric Glioma H3 G34-mutant (G34-DHG).
To commemorate our 1st birthday, we are fundraising for Matty’s Hope, a research project dedicated to finding more effective treatments for the type of brain cancer that claimed Matty's life at the tender age of 20.
This initiative marks the first of its kind in Australia. As of now, the only treatment option is intense radiotherapy and one type of chemotherapy drug, making further research essential.
Your donation will help fund dedicated research to the previously under researched G34-DHG and help bring hope to future patients and their families.
