Levi's Project x Boston Scientific City2Surf

I'm raising funds for DIPG research this City2Surf!

I am taking part in the City2Surf.  Why you ask? Which to be honest, was the reaction from my family and friends, amongst fits of laughter at the idea of me running 14kms.  Well, because I would like to help find a cure for DIPG.

What is DIPG? Diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma is, the most devastating of childhood cancers.  A survival rate of 0%. The typical time from diagnosis to death...9 months.

Every year, 20 Australian children are diagnosed with DIPG.  A highly aggressive cancer that develops from glial (or supportive) tissue in the brain, which supports and protects the brains neurons.  More specifically, it develops in the brainstem called the pons, found at the base of the brain.

I will be running the City2Surf with the Boston Scientific team to help find effective treatments for DIPG.

Please DONATE NOW and support my challenge to change the lives of kids with brain cancer.
