Biography
Jessica Henry joined Children’s Cancer Institute in 2017 in a short-term capacity to project manage the development of the Zero Childhood Cancer Program, including the Program’s national clinical trial. Since then, Jess has held roles in strategy implementation and risk management. She became a member of the Executive Management Committee in June 2019, and her role was expanded to include leadership of the People & Culture Team in October of the same year.
Before working at the Institute, Jess had a 30-year career in the Financial Services sector, including 15 years at each of NAB and Citi. Her last role in financial services was at Citi as Director of Operations for the Australian Retail Bank. After a short stint at KMPG in 2016, Jess had a strong desire to apply her skills, knowledge, and experience in the highly motivating for-purpose sector. With experience across face-to-face service, wealth management, centralised operations, process support and improvement, major project implementations, and leadership of large and diverse teams, Jess is well-placed to support the Institute at a time of continuous and significant growth.
