I’m dedicating my 172km challenge to my daughter Summer to find a cure for childhood cancer. Together as parents, family, relatives, and friends, we can beat this disease for our little loved ones. This is the absolute least I can do to help all the people who help fight the disease on a daily basis whether it'd be medical, physical, mental, or just putting a smile on their face :)

Seeing the struggles these brave kids face, along with their families, really touches my heart. I want to contribute to the fight against cancer and help provide them with the resources they need for treatment and support. I hope to make a positive impact in their lives and bring a little joy and hope during such a challenging time. It's important to me to stand with these kids and show them that they are not alone in this battle.

Harry was diagnosed with high risk T cell Leukaemia in aug 2023. He fought so hard for 8 months of his life but unfortunately lost his battle in April 2024. We would give anything to have him back. Forever young and never forgotten Harry 💕 I pray there is a cure one day!

I’m dedicating my 86km challenge to someone special to find a cure for childhood cancer. Our son was diagnosed with high risk neuroblastoma in April 2022. He was given a 5-year survival rate of 1 in 2. After 16m of gruelling treatment including five rounds of induction chemotherapy, a 6.5hr tumour resection of the primary tumour, two rounds of high dose chemotherapy and autologous stem cell transplants, 12 fractions of radiotherapy and six rounds of immunotherapy, he remains cancer-free almost a year and a half post treatment. We never take any day for granted anymore and one thing is for certain- without childhood cancer research, he wouldn’t be here with us today. Not a day goes by we don’t think of the children and families we met on this journey who have been affected by childhood cancer including those who are forever in the stars. We will always have a passion and dedication to CCI as they are the only institute in Australia dedicated to childhood cancer research.
