Support my Challenge to Help Kids with Cancer!
Hello everyone!
My name is Chloe, I am 23 years old and I am going to be joining the March 86km challenge to help raise money and awareness for childhood cancer.
My story:
I currently work full time in a school and I am a full time university student studying early childhood teaching. I have a lot of empathy towards children, especially those that have health related conditions, as I understand the toll it has on their everyday lives. Cancer is something I am familiar with and how much it affects the people around you. My mother, who is the strongest person I know, has previously been diagnosed Non-Hodgkins lymphoma. She has undergone radiation therapy and is now currently having chemotherapy treatment. This experience has really taken a toll on our family, as chemotherapy has a lot of side effects. I am wanting to take part in this challenge to support cancer research.
I am currently training every day for this challenge! I’m super excited to raise money and awareness for childhood cancer. I appreciate everyone supporting me through this challenge!
