This is the last year of a three year fundraising campaign for Anya's wish. Anya was my eldest daughters school friend and confidante. Anya's battle with high-grade metastatic osteosarcoma from 13 to 19 years old was brutal.
Anya’s Wish was for her body and her experience with the disease, to be instrumental in drawing focus on the ongoing research to end childhood cancer, particularly sarcoma.
The Children’s Cancer Institute is the only medical research institute in Australia wholly dedicated to cure childhood cancer and pioneer safer treatments for children.
