Support my Challenge to Help Kids with Cancer!

I am taking part in 86K for a Cure to help find a cure for childhood cancer.

Every month, 86 children are diagnosed with cancer. There is usually no known cause, treatment can go on for many years and it puts an enormous strain on family life.

So I am conquering this challenge for the 86 children who are diagnosed with cancer each month.

Together, we can help find a cure for childhood cancer and create safer, more effective treatments.

Please DONATE NOW and support my challenge to change the lives of kids with cancer.

My Updates

Day 9

Thursday 13th Mar
We hit $240!! A big thank you to all who donated to such an amazing cause. The only challenge I have left is hitting 86 kilometres!

Today was a pretty average day walking-wise. If anyone has any good scenic walk suggestions, please do let me know!

Day 8

Wednesday 12th Mar
Thank you so much to everyone who donated today!! It's really appreciated. Not far off from $240 now!

Today was a pretty average school day, but I got a good few kilometres in. I'll try to fit some more interesting walks in soon and ramp up the challenge.

Day 7

Tuesday 11th Mar
I had a school day, extra wandering town, and a night out at the theatre to see Hadestown today, so I got a lot of kilometres in. Some of those kilometres I even got running from Martin Place to Theatre Royal so I'd be there on time.

Day 6

Monday 10th Mar
Today was a super normal school day. That meant a good amount of walking!

Day 5

Monday 10th Mar
It's past midnight again, because today was a long one. I spent most of the day acting in a friend's short film, which involved lots of running and walking and falling over. I managed to walk 8.39 km, which I'm super happy with.

Day 4

Sunday 9th Mar
I went over to a friend's to help him film today. That gave me a good amount of walking, but I'm still recovering from being sick and my body is exhausted. I got a lift home and I haven't walked much otherwise. I just hope I can get over this sickness so I can get more kilometres and, honestly, more exercise.

Also, same after midnight thing again.

Day 3

Saturday 8th Mar
I'm posting this after midnight, to clear up any date confusion.

Today was disappointing. I stayed home sick and had a very lazy day. Things should pick up over the weekend, though.

Day 2

Thursday 6th Mar
Today started with a bang, as I did some walking for my return to school. The bang was cut short by feeling really nauseous and getting driven home to lie in bed all afternoon.

Day 1

Wednesday 5th Mar
Despite starting five days late and while home sick, I managed to walk the equivalent of 7.46 km today by walking on the spot while watching YouTube.
