Hi, I’m fundraising for Isaac McInnes

Please support my fundraiser in memory of Isaac McInnes.

Isaac was diagnosed with an inoperable rare and aggressive brain tumour at the end of 2017 and devastatingly passed away only 10 months later on 26 November 2018, at 13 years of age. Isaac was a friend of my brother JJ and as my mum called him a 'gentle giant'. Brain cancer doesn't discriminate, and it's been really inspiring to watch Isaac's brother Angus and his parents, Geraldine & Gary, work so hard to raise money so children with rare brain cancers can live longer with their families due to better treatments.

The Isaac Fund was set up in 2018 to find more effective treatment options and work towards a cure. The survival rate for brain cancer is 20% and for rare brain cancers like Isaac's it's 5%, and these survival rates have not improved for 30 years. Research saves lives so I would really be grateful of any donation you can manage.  All donations over $2 are tax deductible.

On Monday 24th June, Isaac’s brother, Angus, will be leading the Cut for a Cure campaign at St Augustine’s College with all raised funds going to the Isaac Fund. 

The Children’s Cancer Institute is the only medical research institute in Australia wholly dedicate to curing childhood cancer and innovate safer treatments for children.
